ADAM + KATE /// A VIVIDLY COLOURFUL PEAK DISTRICT WEDDING

Adam and Kate were friends of mine through my friends, but now I just consider them mates. They were the most easy going people getting married I've probably ever met!

Their wedding was in August - and were keeping their fingers crossed for dry weather (which they got!), and they had an amazing venue in The Peak Hotel in Derbyshire.

I don't know that much about The Peaks, apart from the honeypot towns and some of the well known peaks liked Mam Tor - I've wild camped on my todd up there before. After that I don't know a whole lot. The venue was gorgeous, and nestled on the outskirts of The Peaks, not too far from Chesterfield.

the colours of the day were gorgeous. A highlight was that Kate's bouquet was stunning.

After a very emotional ceremony, with lots of tears, their daughter brought the house down by just lying down at the feet of the bride and groom for the last part of the ceremony, which I must say, has to be one of the funniest moments I've ever witnessed at a wedding! The registrar was fighting a losing battle trying to talk at one point, with everyone laughing at little Alana's comedy routine...

We took some portraits in the lovely grounds of the hotel, and used the picturesque backdrop and the stunning lake to our advantage for some piccies.

Their day seemed to go so fast! It got to a point before their first dance and I wondered where all the time had gone. Before that, Kate's only request was that she'd love a photograph across the road in front of the rather unexplainably placed monolith that majestically stands next to the road.

Kate and Adam are so in love and their wedding was a perfect reflection on them, relaxed, full of fun and smiles!
