Looking back on Emma + Ben's wedding brings back so many happy memories! The day was full of amazing colour, style and class. The banqueting table, Emma's dress, the mahoooosive Wysteria, the epic Lains Barn (I could go on) all came together to make a magical wedding day - and of course their fur baby, Willow!

Emma is a school friend of mine, and I knew that their wedding would be fantastic because of how many people there I already knew. I would say that knowing people at a wedding who you will be photographing puts you at a slight advantage, especially when you're doing those group photos! Having (bridesmaid) Pettit (another school friend of mine) there who rallied round and made sure that things ran to time nicely was great, and knowing someone in the wedding party who isn't scared to go and grab people for a picture!

Laura and I shot the day together, and personally, I'm so glad that there were two of us.

I do believe that a wedding can be shot by one photographer, but without stating the obvious - it's so much nicer for me to know that we can be in two places at once! For our 2020 weddings and beyond, Laura now comes as part of the package, giving you two photographers. The way we work it is usually - I'm on 'people', and she's on 'details'. It's a good little system that we have going!

I won't waffle on any more, as I'd much rather the photos tell the story of the day.
